584 Series Flex-Check Valve

Model 584 Series Flex-Check Valve is designed for long service life and maintenance-free check valve operation compared to traditional swing check valves. During system flowing conditions the disc flexes up to the open position allowing unrestricted flow through the valve. When system reverse flow conditions occur the disc flexes down to the closed position for drop-tight seal preventing reverse flow. It has a full-flow area body with an integral seat at a 45° angle to reduce head loss.  This minimizes disc travel to 35° degrees for improved no-slam check action and for reliable vertical up-flow operation even on slurry applications. The body and cover are fusion bonded NSF/ANSI 61 fusion bonded epoxy coated for long service life on potable and non-potable systems.
